杉玉交換を行いました！ “We have conducted a cedar ball exchange!”
ショップの天井から吊るしている杉玉を交換しました！
職人さんが一つ一つ手作りした真新しい杉玉は青々と茂り、店内には杉の香りが漂っています。
気持ちがシャキッとするような清々しい香りです✨
きれいに刈り込まれ、見た目も真ん丸で美しいです！
この杉玉、重さはなんと20キロ以上！
杉の葉がみっちり詰まってめちゃくちゃ重いのです、、、
開店前にスタッフと力を合わせ設置しました！
今は若々しい緑の杉玉ですが、約半年かけて茶褐色へと変化していきます。
杉玉の色の変化でお酒の熟成具合を見ることが出来るんですよ♪

“We have replaced the cedar balls hanging from the ceiling in the shop!
Each cedar ball, handmade by craftsmen, is fresh and vibrant, filling the store with the refreshing scent of cedar. It gives a crisp and invigorating aroma. ✨
Beautifully pruned into a perfect round shape, these newly replaced cedar balls weigh over 20 kilograms each! Packed with dense cedar leaves, they are incredibly heavy. Our staff worked together to install them before the opening. Although they are currently a youthful green, they will gradually change to a brownish color over about six months.
The color transformation of the cedar balls allows us to gauge the aging process of the sake. When you visit, please take a look! 😉 If you’re tall enough, you can touch the bottom of the cedar balls. Feel free to touch them gently. 🍀
The cedar balls herald the arrival of the new sake season. Soon, fresh Riha will be available in-store, so stay tuned! ✨”
